"This has been a nightmare!! My parents has been under the care of STATE FARM for 20+plus years. A pipe burst under the house, the roof is leaking and STATE FARM will not help! No alternatives/incentives NOTHING.. and now STATE FARM stated that their home owners insurance has been canceled and they will send a letter out stating why and that the Fire Department will be coming by. They have been trying to get the help they need in order to FIX EVERYTHING...this is sad that my parents will have to go through this and where will they go? When it comes to actual help STATE FARM WILL NOT BE THERE!! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH. And nobody has been out to reasset/reevaluate any of the damage, since the 1st initial file of the report."

At State Farm, we truly care about our customers, and it’s disheartening to hear that this experience hasn’t met your expectations. After reviewing your parents’ report, it was determined that the damages resulted from long-term wear and maintenance issues, such as an aging roof and prolonged pipe leakage. Unfortunately, these types of damages are typically not covered under homeowners' insurance plans, as they fall under routine home maintenance responsibilities. Please know that I personally worked to overturn this decision, but I was unable to do so based on the coverage. I understand this doesn’t provide the resolution your parents were hoping for, but I encourage them to contact me directly if they have any questions or would like assistance exploring other resources for addressing these repairs.
